Disease and Containment

Now isn't that interesting. I hear on the national news that the OSPCA are dealing with an outbreak of ringworm in one of their facilities. Apparently it is an aggressive form of the fungus and as a result 300 plus animals are being euthanized as they are unable to treat this. Does this not prove the fact that close quarters for ANY animal/species is definitely not good?

The State of Affairs

Well, it looks like things are progressing very nicely for the sociopathic corporations and those who believe in total control of the people. We have the Federal Governments Department of Fisheries and Oceans telling us that fish farms are the cats meow for the employment and economy of the small west coastal communities and that to ban them would be ludicrous. The mayor of Port McNeil also said that banning fish farms would be a determent to the economy and the lives of people. NOTHING has been said about banning fish farms, what has been said is ban OPEN PEN fish farms and turn to a sustainable closed containment operation. Here we have a case of a black and white option and in order to defend the $'s the corporations will be losing = tax $'s, we MUST defend what is such a great plan on paper. We have the DFO turning a blind eye to the lice problem and the disappearance of the west coast salmon. According to them, all the paperwork and charts show them that there is not a problem, yet they will not believe the hands on proof... the commercial fishery which has dried up in the last 3 years... packing boats coated with lice.... lice being spilt from boxes transporting fish to the processing plant. We have a government veterinarian that would not release information to those that asked pertinent questions... 'Ask the farmer' was his reply. His 'released' report shows he thinks 'inside' the box... the box being the fish farm. His report shows an excellent salmon harvest with very little sign of sea lice and no observable problems. His report is for the corporation running the show and for those who believe open pen farms are safe. Look 'outside' the box and see what damage is being done outside. How can you say that the lice problem is brought about by the wild salmon on one hand and yet on the other say that salmon and lice have lived together for eons? Why is it now that there is a huge lice problem that even the Natives are concerned about? It should be common knowledge that if you keep any animal in close quarters, in order to keep sickess and disease away, you have to medicate, and if a disease does get loose, the whole flock/herd has to be disposed of. Does it not make sence that you bring in a foreign species, ie Atlantic Salmon, and pen them all up, that a few lice soon multiply, and by the way, how can immature salmon smolt have ADULT lice on them in order to populate the fish farms?
We have Harper slandering and throwing out of government a member because 'he does not like her husband'. How dare a democratic government make up stories that have absolutely no basis in fact and not even inform said member of what she did!
We have the Campbell government of taking a vote to stop discussion on the HST in order to speed up the process of getting the bill passed before the July 1st deadline of implimentation. The province is well on its way of getting the required number of signatures on petitions. Now, will the Government accept this petition as being valid? or will they come up with some way of invalidating it in order to impose their will.

Thoughts on TV

I am noticing an interesting trend in 'crime slime' on the boob tube. Adding more fear, especially to those who are disadvantaged and with children, seems to be the name of the game these days, along with brainwashing us into accepting depraved, brutal, sadistic, demoralizing behavior as a norm. We now have a new one all about run away children. Somehow it seems all we see is children/young adults who have no role models, who are products of children themselves and who are expected to raise themselves and become 'responsible' adults. The whole concept of 'family' fell apart in the late 70's and early 80's. That's when it was 'discovered' that us sheeple had far too much free time on our hands and we were actually teaching our offspring the real facts of life. This could not be. Women were forced into the work place in order to support a family in comfort. Children were then placed in controlled brainwashing facilities called 'daycare', 'playschool', 'kindergarten' at an earlier age in order to reinforce the message 'they' wanted their people to grow up with. These children are now those who are either leaders or becoming leaders of our 'country', those who only 'obey' the ones with the money, not those they are representing. That is NOT the me way.

Doing "Our" Part

Once again, it is us, the pawns, the ‘end of the line’ sheeple that are to fix this climate change issue. A meeting at the Kelsey Center, Downtown Sayward, on the evening of March 15, 2010, drew 9 members from the community, Mayor John Mcdonald, Councillor Debbie Coats, and Cameron Cairncross, Village Administrator who introduced Rob Roycroft, MCIP in a lively discussion. WWW.roycroft.ca will give you an overview of Rob’s credentials.

Rob has been hired by the Village to facilitate us in how to reduce the harmful effects of Greenhouse gases, our Carbon Footprint, to prior 2006 levels. The Federal Government has issued a decree to each of the Provinces, which in turn has put the onus on the communities and municipalities in said province, to become Carbon Neutral by 2012. We are now part of the ‘BC Climate Action Charter’ in which 177 communities have signed on. This means that we ALL have to pitch in and do even more to try and keep our planet alive, by reducing our emissions and be more aware of waste. Shortly into the meeting, it was mentioned that this meeting was NOT about whether climate change was an issue and if anyone was here for that reason they could leave. This was done tongue-in-cheek and 2 people chuckled, made to leave and sat down, along with a laugh or two.

We were presented with a chart (attached) showing levels of consumption of fuel, solid waste and Energy. These figures were compiled from 2006 data and pertained to the Village of Sayward only and only represented a guideline of figures. There was discussion on where people purchased their fuel as there was no fuel service in the Village and ‘how can these figures be accurate.’ A base figure is that; a base figure. If further figures are based on the same criteria, the end result will be a fairly good representation of what we need to know. It was at this point that I raised the point about the information discussed at this meeting and was it going to be published in a news article. I was actually amazed at the look of a few people. This is the third PUBLIC meeting with PUBLIC notices advertising a PUBLIC meeting and there has been NO follow up regarding the outcome of such meetings. ‘Where is it going to be published?” came up and I said the Sayward News… and it was indicated that if I so desired to write something, it would definitely be printed. The reply to that was that we shall see as previous material has not been published.

Discussed were various ways to reduce our emissions, from how to more efficiently run the Village office/works yard, to individuals cutting costs. Rob mentioned that to date that the Village had completed/in process of completing 1) light upgrades 2) office and works yard upgrade 3) Kelsey Centre refit 4) HVAC project at the Kelsey Center 5) installing condensing furnaces. These projects already count towards our Carbon Neutrality because we are eligible to receive grants in order to pursue other projects. We have to come up with a list of reasonable and attainable target goals by May 31, 2010 and with that six large pages were filled with suggestions:

SOLID WASTE

ban plastic bags

public education – composting

more promotion/options

receptacles for garbage

ban Styrofoam

frequency of pick up

glass recycling

TRANSPORTATION

turn off vehicles

anit idling

car pool

promote cycling/walking

plan/share trips

PUBLIC AWARENESS

finance grants & support

efficient operations

AROUND THE HOME

PowerSmart BC hydro site

building retrofits

allow sheep to cut grass

heat pumps

fix leaks

wood stove operations

WATER AND SEWER

rain barrels

support conservation

leaks

low flush toilets

‘pee in shower’

VILLAGE

reduce street lights

convert green areas to

community gardens

buy green

bio doggy bags

These suggestions have been taken back to Council, digested and discussed at which time a further public meeting will be held to discuss the Target Goals of Sayward Village.

Once again us mere mortals as sheeple and pawns have not enough to do with trying to survive in this troubled world, we now have to pick up and ‘fix’ more wrongs that have been perpetrated on us by sociopathic corporations who have no soul. Besides the fact that ‘global warming’ has been fearmongered upon us with all kinds of twisted logic purporting to be accurate, I find it offensive that we have to do the ‘dirty work’ of cleaning up after those who have more money than brains. Oil companies need more profit and therefore need more ways to ‘sell/utilize’ their product giving us the garbage to deal with. How about admitting that there is a problem with our skies, that someone with ulterior motives is girdling the earth with unknown substances in the form of chem. trails, spreading to cover the sky so GHG’s can’t leave and Vitamin D can’t enter. We are already sorting our garbage and disposing of masses amounts of plastic, an after thought of the petroleum industry. We are ‘recycling’ all we can, with some questioning the recycling fees we pay and how that money is used.

Letter to Alexandra Morton re Wild Salmon

Hello Alexandra...
Rick is keeping me in the loop as far as the salmon situation is depressing. I am horrified by what I have seen and heard and I am hoping, as you are, that your video opens some eyes. I have been very concerned with the state of affairs in the world for many years and I believe that this catastrophe happening in our back yard has been done on purpose.
I am 3/4 through a book by James Hoggan called 'Climate Cover-up', It explains why no one is getting hot and bothered about the predicament we have caused, because we have 'think-tanks' of supposed experts deciding on what is best for us sheeple. We have these 'experts' who are 'employed' by the fossil fuel industry, publishing information over and over which is incorrect and misleading, ultimately destroying a persons faith in those who are supposed to be looking after our best intersts. What we have in the fishing industry is those employed by the 'farms', or who have an interest in promoting this aquaculture, and are being very selective in what data they chose to use in order to 'look good'. It seems that Global Warming is their latest excuse for what is happening. I would like to say that if my livestock was infested with 'bugs' to the extent the salmon are, I would be out of business in no time flat.
I am passing along most of the info I receive from you, through Rick, to friends back east and they are horrified by what is happening here. Once again, it is us, the pawns in this horrendous illusionary game being played, that has to pick up the pieces from the elite who don't give a damn about anyone except lining their pockets and watching us grovel.

A Honey of a Trail

I hear that 90% of the honey bees in British Columbia have just become another statistic to prove the that 'global warming' is a real issue. From what I have been reading, I take great offense to the fact that those that have more power than you or I can cause such a disaster to happen, that ultimately will affect our food supply. We NEED bees to pollinate our beans and peas, our grain and fruit. Sure we can survive with no honey, we just use more energy to produce sugar from beets or cane.
Does anyone question any of these strange occurrences in the past couple of decades? ..mutant animals, strange maladies, sicknesses and species disappearing? If I could afford the time to research and study the sky above me, and what is happening, I would bet my last dollar that what is being sprayed in our atmosphere, by, not only military and 'unknown' planes, but by commercial carriers also, is the cause of the majority of the aforementioned. It has been documented that these chem trails contain anything from barium and aluminum, to viruses and blood components. It has also been documented of health issues related to these trails. I have personally experienced two episodes related to chem trails, one of which had me rushed to the hospital accompanied by bells and whistles.
WE are no longer aware of what is going on around us. We have been 'dumbed down' by particulate falling on us from above, from chemicals added to ALL our food to 'improve' it, from vaccines full of god knows what and our children are brainwashed with the exact same information from one end of the Country to the other, called Education. Technology has gone one step further. It has put into our hands twiddle boxes to keep our eyes down, keep us from paying attention to what is going on around us. Sure, I am guilty of not seeing someone on the sidewalk when I am driving because I am focused on driving, but when I am walking, I am aware of my surroundings, and what is happening above me. There you all are, texting, e-mailing, twiddling with your phones, iPods, apple things etc and you DO NOT SEE. Anyone under the age of 30 probably does not notice anything different with our skies. They have been so conditioned by parents to stay out of the sun and spent most of their time babysat by the televison or immersed into larger versions of twiddle boxes, they have no idea of the real world or what should be the real world.
Its about time someone said STOP the chem trail sraying. They are covering the world, causing it to 'sweat' (rain) and have sever head aches (storms). STOP cutting all these trees. The world can no longer breath, it is gasping as its oxygen has been depleted.
Its about time business started playing by its rules and cutting back its emissions, and not leave us, the pawns in this illusionary game, to do its dirty work.
